This year the Wicklow Mountains Autumn Walking Festival will be based in the beautifulWicklow Mountains National Park.
Glendalough within the Park is a truely spellbinding place.
The best way to expeience these mountains is by walking

'A' Walk is usually 20-25km over a 7/8 hour period with over 800m of climbing and is intended for the experiennced walker.
'B' Walk is usually 12-15km over a 6/7 hour period with over 500m of climbing and is intended for the experienced walkers.
'C' Walk is usually 8-12km over a 5/6 hour period with over 300m of climbing and is intended for the less experiennced walkers.

This walk takes you onto Brockagh Mountain, 557 mtrs and from there to Tonelegee 817mtrs, then north to Glenmacanass River and onto Kenturk and Scarr 641 mtrs returning to Laragh via Paddock Hill and the Wicklow Way

From Laragh the walk takes you up onto the Derrybawn Ridge onto Mullacor mountain 657mtrs from there to Lugduff, Loch Firib, Turlough Hill and Wicklow Gap road. Then onto Tonelagee mountain 817 mtrs. Homeward via Brockagh mountain to Laragh

Centre along the Wicklow Way through Brockagh forest onto to Brockagh mountain 557mtrs into Glendasan Valley to the site of the Reign of Fire movie. Onto Camaderr mountain 677mtrs back along spur into the Clandasan Valley at Glendalough rejoining Wicklow Way to Laragh.

REGISTRATION AND FESTIVAL DETAILS

Registration for all walks is at the Brockagh Resource Centre, laragh. Signs will be in place for directions
Free secure car parking is available and will be provided to all pre-booked participants. Otherwise €2.oo will be cahrged
There is a speciual rate of €30.00 for all 3 day pass, €23 for 2 day and 15 for 1 day
At the end of each days walk there will be a presentation of T-shirts
