Throughout the county, visitors can delight in a wealth of crafts, art and shopping. Craft disciplines include pottery, glassworks, jewellery, silverware, weaving, linen, lace and traditional knitwear. Many crafts people work from their own studios, which are open to the public. There are also many art and craft outlets. There are exhibitions throughout the county. The gallery also stocks an interesting selection of work from other Irish potters and ceramic artists. Ballinastoe Pottery was recently awarded the Celtic Council of Ireland symbol of quality for retailers. Located 3 miles from Roundwood on Enniskerry Road, the pottery is open 10am to 6pm daily.
