Chestnut House has been modernised to provided warm homely accommodation for you while visiting Ireland. The rooms are all family based with double beds and/or single /double second bed. All are Ensuite and nicely finished.

The rooms are spacious and bright, as the example of the Master room to the left. You also have good views of the Wicklow mountains from this room

Many leisure facilities are nearby including: Angling at Blessington Lake, Golf Courses, Horse Riding, Sailing, Hill Walking, Pitch & Put and Rock Climbing.

Children are catered for at Blessington Leisure facilities, which are 10 minutes away

The Ardenode Hotel, in Ballymore Eustace provides food if you wish to eat out, as does the Downshire Arms Hotel in Blessington

Blessington Lakes and the Poulaphouca Power electricity system is also a short distance up the road, as are Rosborrough House and Powerscourt House and Estate

Wicklow Gap, where the ESB Turlough Hill Power station is situated, are within a short drive to Glendalough

Also nearby are the Japanese Gardens.

The Sally Gap drive to Roundwood is also very beautiful

Wicklow gap is where the film Reign of Fire was made, Braveheart and Excalibur were made around Sally Gap
