There are a range of interesting places to visit, from Clara Lara Fun Park for the Kids (4 Km), to Powerscourt Town House, Gardens and Waterfall, Annamoe Trout Farm, Many Golf Clubs including Roundwood Gold Club, Djouce House Golf Club, Wooden bridge and Druids Glen.
The Internationally renowned Wicklow Way Walk passes only a hundred metres from the entrance to Valeview. A walk to Glenmacanass waterfall is over the hill, and the Wicklow gap, with its many interesting mining buildings, is only 2 miles up the valley, which can lead on into the Wicklow Mountains. The Glendalough Web Site provides a large variety of information. The Visitors Centre, Glendalough, is only 2 minutes down the hill.
In the spacious dining area you can enjoy the traditional Irish breakfast. The sitting area provides a relaxing area with a large window facing the valley and monastic sites.
